Yosha joined our team with a strong background in advice. He has a passion for building relationships and working with individuals to grow their wealth and to live the lifestyle of which they dream. Yosha has worked within the boutique, full-service financial advice industry since 2008.
Yosha has a Bachelor degree in Banking and Finance and International Business, the Advanced Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning), Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking as well as specialist accreditation across Self Managed Superannuation Funds and Listed Securities.
Yosha holds the Associate Financial Planner (AFP®) designation with the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) and is a member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).

After six years as an Australian army officer, Don entered the financial planning industry in 1980. During his career Don has helped clients ranging from those just starting out to individuals requiring the development of strategic financial plans and ongoing management for portfolios valued in the millions. Don has also worked at senior national levels in several management roles, is a sought-after public speaker and has presented numerous papers at industry forums.
Don has qualified as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), the highest internationally recognised qualification within the industry. He holds a Diploma in Financial Planning from RMIT University and has completed extensive training in the specialised area of Self Managed Superannuation. He is also a Justice of the Peace.
Don is active within a number of professional associations including the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) and the Self Managed Super Fund Association (SMSFA).

Jonathan is passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals and provides high-quality financial advice with integrity and honesty. He began his career in auditing, progressing to audit manager, before joining the financial services industry. He has 12 years of experience working for large international institutions including HSBC Private Bank and Northern Trust in the UK, and AMP in Australia. His various roles with these institutions have included managing client relationships for high net worth clients and various finance and team management roles for funds and corporates.
Jonathan is also our Research Manager, utilising the investment knowledge he has gained over his career as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder. In this capacity, Jonathan provides ongoing review and oversight of all new and existing products recommended by PWS.

Alex joined the Life Insurance industry in 2002 and has a deep appreciation for the value of life changing financial advice and the outcomes it can deliver, having grown up in an advice practice.
Alex joined PWS in 2019 to bring her expertise to the team. She has a strong background in group and retail life insurance, policy interpretation, underwriting practices and terms, claims advocacy, and employee benefit programs.
At PWS, Alex is responsible for leading our Corporate Benefits Solution and Referral Partnerships programs. Her extensive experience allows her to develop strategic partnerships with employer groups and collaborate with other professional service providers to best serve our clients.
One of Alex’s key strengths is advocating for clients at claim time. Drawing on her experience in group, super default, and retail insurance claims, Alex understands the value of recommending quality contractual definitions, which sees her advised clients benefit from increased claims success.
In addition to her professional experience, Alex is also bilingual and speaks German fluently, having picked up a bit of Austrian dialect during her time living in the south of Austria with her family.
Currently, Alex is completing her Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning, to further her knowledge and skills to better serve our clients at PWS.

Jessica has completed a Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP) and is currently studying to attain the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. She has been working in the financial planning industry since 2016, gathering a wide range of experience in multiple roles including administration, compliance and paraplanning.
Jessica assists in the advice preparation process with the aim to develop clear and concise advice documents. She has a keen interest in the data and metrics side of financial planning and uses this information to support our advisers in delivering meaningful outcomes for clients.

Combining a deep understanding of technology and expertise in financial planning, he aims to provide an engaging and collaborative client experience. He empowers confidence at times of uncertainty by delivering clear and practical advice.
Justin holds a Bachelor of Economics with a major in Finance and Economics from the University of NSW, and has also completed the professional financial planner certification (CFP) as well as specialist accreditations in listed securities, age-care and self-managed superannuation.

Adam completed his Bachelor of Economics with double majors in Finance and Financial Economics at the University of New South Wales in 2016. He completed his Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning with Kaplan Professional in 2022 and has commenced his Masters.
Adam joined the team at PWS with 3 years of paraplanning experience at another financial advisory firm.
Adam prepares straightforward advice documents and is committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Mark is a decisive problem solver, has superior organisational skills and brings his extensive experience to PWS to ensure our clients are well-supported.

Financial Planner
David has an MBA, Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and has passed the Certified Financial Planner and Financial Adviser exams. He has been providing financial advice for the last 10 years following a career leading and managing various businesses. He has provided financial advice to clients of one of the Big Four banks, a corporate investment company and an industry super fund.
David has combined his business knowledge, life experience and financial planning skills to approach his clients’ needs for wealth creation, protection and transfer to the next generation. David’s starting point in providing financial advice is to seek understanding of what the client wishes to achieve and then working with them on strategies that will help the client achieve their goals. Making financial advice easily understood is a key aim for David in his client discussions.

Jacqueline has over 5 years’ experience working in the Life Insurance services industry in a Customer Service Support role. She understands the needs of our professional clients and is a valuable support member with her empathetic approach to client cases.
Her main goal is to ensure that our clients receive the high level of care that they deserve, from their first phone call and start of their policy through to claim time.
Jacqueline brings a light energy to our team and uses her positive attitude to encourage others to be empowered. She believes that “you can raise your potential, when you help someone reach their potential”.

Charmaine joins our team with over 25 years customer service and operations experience.
She is multi skilled in business operations, strategic solutions, team management, analysis and account management. Charmaine is extremely passionate about finding ways to continuously improve processes and in doing so, enhance the overall customer experience.
One of the previous projects Charmaine holds close to her heart is where she defined, trained and improved compliance to the Standard Operating Procedures . This resulted in effective and efficient client communications and resolutions.

Naomi has a Masters in Applied Finance (Financial Planning) and two decades of experience in the finance industry, having worked for a major Bank in her early career before moving into private practice. She is passionate about assisting her clients to build, manage and protect their wealth.
Naomi specialises in providing bespoke financial solutions for professional and self-employed women and their families. As a new mum, Naomi understands the unique pressures and challenges working women face while raising a family and seeks to provide holistic, comprehensive and strategic financial plans that caters to a families’ priorities.

Sonia has worked in the financial planning industry since 2011 and has gained considerable experience in that time. She enjoys working with advisers on research, analysis, cashflow modelling and helps develop quality financial advice to assist our clients in meeting their financial goals.
Sonia manages the advice preparation process and ensures the highest standard in advice document delivery.
Sonia holds a Bachelor of Mathematics and Finance from the University of Technology Sydney and has completed a Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP). She is also an accredited aged care professional.

Compliance Manager
Mike is our Compliance Manager and has over 34 years’ experience in the financial services industry in various technical and managerial roles.
Prior to joining PWS he held senior compliance roles in financial services including licensing and audits/reviews for a major insurer, general insurance brokerages and numerous financial planning firms and their representatives.
Mike earned a degree in law from the Australian National University in Canberra and holds a practicing certificate as a solicitor and barrister in NSW. He is also a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and holds a Diploma in Personal Financial Planning from the University of Southern Queensland.
Mike is responsible for conducting our AFS Licensee and Representative Reviews, managing our compliance requirements with various government regulatory bodies and general compliance management.

Kirstin began her career in auditing in South Africa and obtained extensive experience in the audit and accounting of a wide range of industries. Subsequently she worked as a financial analyst with the Royal Bank of Canada in the Channel Islands before relocating to Australia and joining PWS.
Kirstin is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and has joined PWS as our financial controller.

Bilal has a strong academic background in Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional (Grad Dip FP) and Accounting from Macquarie University (BCom Acc) and has worked in client services, retail and administration since 2011.
He enjoys working in the financial services industry due to its dynamic character. His role at PWS allows him to combine his experience in client service with his interest in financial services, enabling him to provide an efficient and complete personalised experience to all PWS clients. Bilal provides the day-to-day support to our executive financial planners and ensures that PWS’ valued clients’ financial needs and requirements are administered accordingly.

John has worked with organisations in Australia, North America, UK and Europe, accruing broad business consulting, personnel selection and management experience across many industries and markets.
Educated in both Australia and the UK, John holds an MBA and other financial qualifications. His expertise includes consulting roles with multinational enterprises involving business and financial modelling, predictive talent analytics, performance metric development and team optimisation. We are delighted to have John assisting PWS in the selection and development of our team.
